Recently my mrriage with my husband who is in the navy went downhill, extremely fast. Scott C, we have not been married very long... 7 months, almost 8. I don't receive any money from him and we don't have a joint bank account. I don't even know how to access the bank account without his debit card or how much he is truly getting paid. Am I supposed to be receiving money or a certain portion? I would like to know how to best prepare for my trial. I was married for 10 years. I asked for a divorce from my wife June 2010. During our marriage I recieved a cash inheritance from a close family member. This was place into a new home for my then wife and family. My question is can I recieve a partial amount back if we are forced to sell the home. The home has dropped in value 50%. Can I ask and Persue judgement to buy her out? We still Have close to 30,000.00 of equity in the home. My inheritance was 4 times that amount. If I'm forced to sell will we split revenue 50/50?
